Systems engineer. Over a decade in the Linux kernel, most of it in ext4 and the layers underneath it, where a bug does not necessarily crash a process, but it can quietly return the wrong bytes.

Now at the Czech Ministry of Defence, building cyber and cognitive defensive capabilities and leading the team that keeps them running. Different adversary, same habit: assume the failure case is the real case.

Interested in operating systems, storage, and both halves of security, the technical one and the cognitive one.
